Privacy Policy

The data controller for personal information processed through AntarChit is the AntarChit team. You can contact us at support@antarchit.com about anything in this policy.

We collect only what we need to run the app:

• Sign-in details from Google or Apple (name and email). Guest access is available if you would rather not sign in — in that mode we collect no identifying information.
• Usage metrics — sessions played, mood selections, habit completions, app open times, and reading progress.
• User-generated content such as questions you ask, dedications you write, and intentions you set. This is the text you type while using the app.
• Basic device information (device model, OS version, app version) for crash diagnostics.
• Crash and performance diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics — automatically collected stack traces and device state when the app crashes. Not linked to your account.

• Personalise meditation experiences and reading suggestions.
• Track your spiritual practice progress and streaks.
• Generate AI-powered content (verses, stories, reflections, intention quotes).
• Send the optional daily reminder if you have enabled it (notifications are scheduled locally on your device).
• Diagnose crashes and improve performance via Firebase Crashlytics.
• Verify the app binary is genuine via Firebase App Check before our backend accepts a request.

• Contract — to provide the app features you have requested (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Consent — for optional features such as AI generation and notifications, withdrawable at any time inside the app (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Legitimate interests — for security, abuse prevention, and crash diagnostics (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

AntarChit integrates with the following services. Data shared is the minimum needed for each feature and is always sent over encrypted channels. Each provider has its own privacy policy that governs further processing.

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, App Check, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions) — core infrastructure. Stores your account profile, app data, and crash reports.
• Anthropic Claude — text generation. We send only the prompt for each AI feature (your question, mood selection, intention, etc.). We do not send your name, email, or device identifier. Anthropic does not use this content to train their models.
• OpenAI DALL-E — artwork for Story of the Day. Image prompts are generated server-side and contain no personal data.
• ElevenLabs — voice narration for selected sessions. No personal data is shared.

Firebase, Anthropic, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs are operated primarily from servers in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed there. Each provider relies on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards under applicable law to govern such transfers.

Information is stored on Google Firebase servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Active account data persists while your account exists. When you delete your account (Soul → Delete Account), personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days, often much sooner. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for legitimate business purposes.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (Soul → Delete Account).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw your consent to AI features at any time (Soul → About → AI features toggle).
• Receive a portable copy of your data on request (contact us).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — for EU residents, this is your national DPA; for UK residents, the ICO.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA: the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email support@antarchit.com and we will respond within 45 days.

AntarChit does not track you across other apps or websites and does not use the iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA). For this reason, no ATT prompt is shown.

AntarChit is not directed at children under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction — generally 13 in the United States (COPPA) and 16 in most of the European Union (GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

You may enable or disable the daily reminder at any time from the Soul tab. The reminder runs entirely on your device — we do not send push notifications from our servers. iOS and Android will ask for permission before any notification is scheduled.

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and the hosted canonical version. Substantive changes will be announced in the app.
